I'm so excited right now I can't even think straight to write a coherent summary of what the DC Circuit did today to get me so excited. It has something to do with basically adopting the arguments I helped to write and calling RIAA's arguments "border[ing] on the silly." Oh, and preventing the RIAA from using 512(h) subpoenas to get contact information about Internet users. The Washington Post article about the decision is here, and the opinion itself is here (yes, that's my name on the top of page 2). Sometimes good actually does win out over evil. Yee, haw!
