I never thought I would ever see Fred Fielding and Cory Doctrow mentioned in the same breath. Well, OK, that's a bit of an overstatement. Fred isn't mentioned by name. But the Wired article is about the amazing runaway best seller status of the 9/11 Commission Report, and Fred was on the Commission. And it quotes Cory talking about e-distribution of Down and And Out In The Magic Kingdom.

But I know both of these people, and I NEVER woulda thunk the twain would meet! And for the record, we own the hard copy of Magic Kingdom, which Mike has read and I have waiting in queue on my nightstand. As for the Commission report, I would download it before buying the hard cover, though I haven't had much time for fun leisure reading, much less nonfiction, heart wrenching "leisure" reading. In the airport yesterday, Mike and I were marveling at how many people we saw reading it!
