Thumper it is!

Well, this poor neglected second child finally has an in-the-womb name. With Alex, we started calling him “the bean” or “Baby Bean” pretty early on. With this one, I didn’t want to just default back to bean, as that seemed unfair, but I also wasn’t feeling very creative and was too busy chasing after a toddler to come up with something fun. We’ve been mostly just talking about “Baby,” especially when talking to Alex. He will kiss and zrbrt Baby in Mommy’s Belly both with and without prompting.

Well, as kids are wont to do, this one has come up with his or her own nickname. I thought Alex was an active baby in utero, but this one is even more so. I feel movement pretty much constantly, and particularly aimed at my bladder and other areas deep inside that I don’t even want to contemplate exactly what they are. The other day I blurted out “Thumper, will you give your mama’s bladder a break in there??” I think Thumper is going to stick…
