Growing Splendidly

Had another prenatal appointment today — they are going to be coming fast and furious from now on, every 2 weeks for one more month, and then every week. It was a good pair of appointments, actually. First, another ultrasound since we haven’t gotten the records of the last one from the last doctor yet. It’s a little hard to see what is going on in there when the baby is this far along (31, almost 32 weeks!), but the tech said that everything looked great, as far as she could see. She had a hard time getting a picture for me, because Thumper was so busy thumping away in there, and kept putting his or her hands and feet in front of his or her face. But I did get one face shot, which I will try to post ASAP.

Then, on to the normal prenatal visit. My blood pressure was a great 102/64, my weight is up two pounds from last time (for a grand total of 2 pounds above my pre-pregnancy weight!) and that is likely all baby — this sucker is measuring 33 weeks by ultrasound, and 34 weeks by fundal height. Most importantly, no more signs of a bladder infection, and my thyroid test came back normal which means my current prescription is at the right level, and I passed the one-hour glucose tolerance test, so no gestational diabetes (or even 3 hour test, like last time!) for me.

Next appointment is in two weeks. It will be interesting to see the progress then!
