Still Cooking

Went for a prenatal visit today, and Thumper is still happily cooking away in there. I am fine — my blood pressure was 100/48, I think she said, my weight is the same as the week before (which shocks me — I have indulged in dessert a few times this week!) , no other visible problems. Thumper’s heart beat is nice and strong, although the little one was true to name and kept moving and thumping, making it hard for her to get a good long read at first. Hey, no worries about the baby being active, at least!

At first she felt my belly and said baby was head down, but then she felt around more and thought perhaps not. I personally think this child just has a very hard butt, and I have not a lot of extra padding about this time around. But, just to be sure, we are going to take a quick peek via ultrasound Monday morning.

So, dust off those head down vibes, if you will, and send them my way. I’ll let you know how it goes on Monday! (Assuming we get that far….hmmmm….)
