Suited for Battle

So the other day Mike was watching me get dressed after my shower. The routine includes both a sanitary pad and a nursing pad on each side. He remarked something along the lines of “with all those pads, it looks like you are getting ready for the big game or something.” I prefer a different analogy: preparing for my day is not unlike getting suited for battle. There’s the armor, of course, but don’t forget your shield (er, burp cloth)!
