Curious George

We took the boys to see Curious George in the movie theater today. This was Alex’s first time seeing a movie in a movie theater (I am not counting him sleeping through Lord of the Rings III when he was 4 months old, which is also the last time Mike and I were in a movie theater before today!), and Nate’s too, though he slept through the whole thing and I won’t really count it as his first time for that reason. Alex seemed to like it, for the most part, although he wasn’t so happy with the heavy character, Ivan. During Ivan’s screen time, poor Alex kept saying “I want to go home now.” He powered through, though, and was pretty happy with the monkey in the end. We’ve been reading some Curious George books, so he was familiar with the characters. I think we will wait a while again before taking Alex to the movies, though.
