Just Alex

Alex has quite a strong sense of identity. If you suggest to him that he might be stubborn, or a ham, or a riot, he replies, “I not stubborn, I just Alex!” or “I not a ham, I just Alex!” or “I not a riot, I just Alex!” And whatever you do, don’t suggest that he is Alexander. No way. Alexander is our next door neighbor. “I not Alexander, I just Alex!”
