Politely Rude

I don’t usually blog about other people’s kids, but Allison shared a story about my Goddaughter Ellen today that is just too funny not to share:

Ellen wakes up this morning saying “Get me some milk.”

Mommy says, “How about you ask me nicely and I’ll be happy too?”

Ellen replies, “No thank you, I just want some milk.”

Allison reports that a doozey of a three year old tantrum ensued before the requisite please was finally uttered. Since I didn’t have to deal with that tantrum, I say it was worth it to get this story out of the deal!
