Bookworm

So we had to send Alex to his room for a time out since the normal time out was not working and he needed some alone time to compose himself. When we got back when time was up, Alex was pretty oblivous to Mike’s presence. He was too busy reading, you see. Sitting in his beanbag reading Curious George, to be exact. He finally looked up and declared “I reading, Daddy!”

We were simultanously quite proud that he loves books so much and a little nervous that he has figured out how to make going to his room so not a punishment at the tender age of three. Oy.
