Mix Up

When Alex came out of his bedroom this morning, all dressed and ready for school, something looked off to me. I didn’t recognize the heather grey athletic shorts he was wearing — did we get them from the day care and forget to return them? Did I buy those and just not remember? He does have several pairs of grey shorts, but these weren’t what I remembered. Still, I didn’t think too much of it. We headed off to school.

After work, I took the boys to run some errands and grab dinner and when we took a potty break, I realized the problem with the mysterious shorts. They weren’t Alex’s shorts at all, they were Nate’s pants. Sized 6 months.

How in the heck they fit Alex around the waist, I have no idea. That’s some stretchy elastic, I guess!
