Rash

Nate has another mysterious Rash Of Unknown Origin. It appeared out of nowhere, head to toe, yesterday not long after I had dropped him off at day care. He didn’t have a fever, so I put a call in to the pediatrician’s office and was told that it was likley a viral rash of some sort. The good news is, once the rash shows, viral rashes are no longer contageous, so I didn’t have to pull him out of day care. No fever, no appreciable change in attitude. Just a bunch of little dots all over his body, from head to toe. On the off chance that it was a food reaction, I have him some benadryl at bed time, but it didn’t clear it up at all, so that confirms to me it is likely viral. In fact, it may even be the same virus that had Alex and I sick last week. I am just so very glad that he didn’t get a fever. Hopefully it will clear up soon.
