Momma’s Boy

Several people told me today that Nate looks a lot like me. I love hearing it! Tonight I had the wonderful pleasure of sharing some one-on-one time with my youngest boy. I realized as I was doing it I haven’t done a whole heck of a lot of playing with Nate one-on-one: most of the time, I at least have half an eye on Alex, or when I do have Nate alone I am also trying to work. But when that little boy crawled up to the dishwasher and tried to grab knives out it, I realized the dishwasher could wait and my baby could not, or at least should not.

So we rolled balls back and forth, and put items in and out of the toy fish bowl, and pushed buttons on the LeapFrog Learning Table, and practiced crawling up and down on the rocker, and played some counting games. Over an hour of uninterrupted baby play. Divine!
