Story Time

Tonight after bath and jammies, Nate picked up a book and crawled right into Mike’s lap, in an obvious bid to get himself some story time. How cute is that? Our newly revised routine for the past few weeks is read three Nate-appropriate stories to both boys in Alex’s room, leave Alex playing quietly in his room for a few minutes while I get Nate down, have Alex do his tooth brushing and last minute potty routine, then do one more Alex-aged story for my big boy as a treat before snuggles and bed. Nate is also starting to point at things in the books as I go, which is so wonderful to see. Hopefully, I have a second bookworm on my hands!
