Two of a Kind

If I ever get the time again to upload pictures and catch up around these parts, you will see that the boys are lately often dressed in matching shirts. I would worry that it is a bit cutesy, or that I may be scarring them for life, except for the fact that Alex just looooves to match his baby brother. He requests it. And that is saying a lot, because as I have noted in the past, Alex has very strong feelings about the clothes he wears.

The other day, Alex saw Nate dressed in a striped shirt and told Mike “I want to wear my shirt like Baby Nate’s!” This morning I learned just how strongly he likes to match his baby brother. Alex had already picked out his absolutely favorite Seminoles shirt, but when Nate toddled in to Alex’s room wearing a shirt that Alex knew had a match in his own drawer. Seeing Nate, Alex refused Seminoles and went to his dresser to pull out the matching T-Shirt. “I match Baby Nate!”
