First Bachelor Party

Somehow I thought the boys would be a bit older before they attended their first bachelor party. But our good friend Tom was in the general vicininty with a soon-to-no-longer-be-bachelor and the rest of their celebratory crew attending baseball spring training games, and the whole gang was kind enough to meet a geeky family of four for seafood on the bay. Hopefully, the poor impressionable young man was not scarred for life by the sight of two younguns enjoying a fancy dinner!

After dinner, we got really crazy. Left the bachelor party celebrants to their drive back to Orlando, and hit the airport for some plane and train watching fun. With the first hour of parking free, and the next half hour a mere buck and a quarter, going to the airport is about the best entertainment dollar we can have! Oddly, we ran into an online friend we had just seen in Austin, who was just arriving in town to judge a photography contest. That we weird. We helped her secure her shuttle to St. Pete before going back to watching planes and trains.

Over all, not the day we had planned at all but very, very fun nonetheless. I guess we’ll have the corned beef and cabbage for dinner on Monday!
