Alex has hit perfect equilibrium — today at the doctor’s office he weighed in at 40 pounds and measured 40 inches.

That’s the cute part of our visit. The not so cute is that at what was supposed to be a well-check a week after he finished his third ten day course of antibiotics for strep turned into yet another positive strep test. We were hoping to determine whether or not he is just a carrier or what, but he did complain last night that his “mouth hurt” and his throat was a bit red today, so we think we just caught early yet another infection. (Luckily, Nate tested negative). So, we are on to a different class of antibiotics for him and hopefully this will knock it out for good. Poor baby has been mighty sick this winter. Please let this be the end of it!
