DaDa

Last night at the dinner table we were trying to teach Nate how to sign Daddy. The sign is basically putting your thumb to your forehead and tapping with your hands open. Alex is a particularly good teacher, and branched off into showing the signs for Grandfather, Mommy, and Grandmother, too.

This morning, as Nate was leaving my bedroom after Mike, I saw him put his hand to forehead and as he said DaDa. This is probably the first time he has volitionally called Mike DaDa (as opposed to to just randomly making the sound combo) and it was really neat that he tried to accompany it with the sign to boot!
