I love you

Is it amazing or what that this is Nate’s first spoken sentence? Yesterday he came up to me when I was sitting and said something approximating “iiii uuuhv ooo”while putting his arm around my leg and his head on my lap. I pretty much melted. I am not sure anyone but a parent would really recognize it for what it was, but I knew what he was saying. Today, I made it a point to say (and sign) “I love you!” a lot to Nate, and he rewarded us with lots of I love you’s back. He even almost has the sign down. Too sweet.
