Tubing!

With two days of ski school under Alex’s belt, today we spent the morning enjoying an alternative outdoor activity — tubing. One exit down the interstate from Vail was a nice little tubing run with a tow lift and plenty of fresh snow. Billed as fun for the whole family, it certainly was — even Nate enjoyed the speed, though he was a little put off by the snow whipping in his face. Still, he agreed to do it again and again, and the tow lift operator said she had seen older kids give up much sooner. Alex, of course, was all about the tubing. He loved it, and decided tubing was the most fun ever. We went up and down maybe a dozen times, in different combinations of solo and grouped together. The grand finale: One last run, all of us clustered togetherin a big donut. Woo hoo!
