The New ‘Dos

Mike took Alex and Nate for haircuts on Saturday. Both desperately needed it — Alex in particular had quite a ski bum look going on when we were in Colorado. Nate stuck with his normal look, and he looks totally preppy. Alex went for a bit of a change: short on top, and spikey! It simultaneously looks so much more grown up and so much more kid-like to me. He came home from school today with his hair looking much flatter than in this pre-school picture and saying “everyone kept running their fingers through my hair today!” Can you blame them?
