An Encouraging Word

In part so the kids have their Daddy around for a very long time, I’ve been getting in some regular exercise the last couple of months. This morning, I went for a run before breakfast, and when I got home, the kids were up and eating.

Alex asked me “Did you win?” I explained to him that just going out and doing it was a form of winning. Then, a few minutes later, he told me:

“Daddy’s belly is getting better, because it’s almost not fat.”

Well, that’s progress.
