Co-Sleeping

Because of the required sleep arrangements this past Saturday when friends came to town, I happily went along with it when Nate said he wanted to sleep with Alex last Friday night (pictured). They were so tired from our evening out that they both just crawled into bed and were asleep instantly. On Saturday — when co-sleeping was more necessary, as three other kiddos were sleeping in Nate’s room! — there was a little up and down, but they still were eager to sleep together. Tonight, I was out at a meeting, and I think since the boys were missing me at bed time, they chose to sleep together once again. This time, there was a bit more of up and down, as Nate decided he needed yet another stuffed animal, a different pillow, etc. But when I kissed them goodnight, they looked cozy and snug and were sleeping soundly. I love that they love each other enough to want to share a toddler sized bed!
