Love Note

“Mommy, can I write something for you?”
“Sure, Alex!” I said, handing him a legal pad and a pen. He then proceeded to ask me, “how do you spell ’sweet’ again?”
I spelled it for him. The resulting note read:
I love you. You are sweet.”
I was quite shocked that he was able to write out most of those words without any help from an adult. He’s well on his way to full bore reading and writing! (Image to come).
